We provide impact investment opportunities for institutional investors, banks and governments.
And we do it differently. By providing debt financing solutions, such as senior and subordinated loans, unitrache and mezzanine financing, or equity finance, we help to realise projects that other investors don’t finance, don’t finance yet or finance insufficiently.

At Polestar Capital, we add something new to the existing financial landscape: by funding first-of-a-kind production plants that other investors can’t (or won’t yet) finance, we help to realise positive sustainable impact. But we know that the real impact comes with the roll-out of the technology that follows. We call this our ‘game-changing effect’, because it is this roll-out that is needed to accelerate large-scale change and to drive the transition to a more sustainable economy.
In this way, we contribute actively to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs), and classify our funds as ‘dark green’ according to the EU Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) and EU Taxonomy requirements.
WHERE WE DRIVE IMPACT
To transition to a sustainable economy, we need to decouple economic growth from the use of fossil-based resources, and decrease waste. By financing technologies that rely on safe, renewable energy sources, rather than scarce and polluting ones, we help drive that shift.
But we don’t stop there. We also finance sustainable housing and enable job creation through our growth initiatives, both of which are fundamental to the health of our environment and our economy.

The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by the United Nations in 2015, lays a clear path towards a more peaceful and prosperous future for people and our planet. This agenda is underpinned by 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which provide measurable targets for building a fairer and more sustainable world. We consider these six SDGs to be the most important to our impact strategy.
