Fund Application

September 16, 2026

Polestar Capital has submitted the application for its new fund, the Transition Acceleration Fund (TAF), to the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM).

This marks an important milestone in our journey to channel capital towards businesses that deliver measurable environmental and societal impact while building long-term value.

TAF is designed to address a critical financing gap faced by many transition-driven growth companies. While capital is often available for early-stage innovation and mature infrastructure assets, scaling proven technologies to commercial deployment remains a challenge. TAF aims to bridge that gap by providing flexible growth capital to companies active in the energy transition, circularity, and deep tech.

The AFM submission represents a significant step towards launching the fund and mobilising capital to support the next generation of transition leaders.

A big thank you to everyone involved in bringing TAF to this stage. We look forward to sharing more updates as we progress towards launch.
